Unvanquished has spawned several sub-projects:
- Urcheon — Asset build tool;
- Chameleon — Texture-replacer for maps;
- Sloth — Directory-based shader generator;
- DaemonMap — navmesh generator;
- Osavul — Lightweight server-browser and IRC client (stalled);
- Archipelago — Model UV-island manipulator (stalled).
Unvanquished contribute to projects:
- NetRadiant — level editor and Q3map2 map compiler, see Level editors.
- Iqmtool — tool to convert models to IQM format.
Unvanquished maintains some tools:
- Crunch — Image compressor.
